Ways You Can Help with the Needs in Haiti Now

By Mark Gauthier, National Director of the U.S. Campus Ministry

As the days and weeks pass, our attention turns away from Haiti to the everyday needs of our own lives. And yet, thousands of Haitians remain in camps and makeshift shelters, in need of food, water and safety. There is so much still to be done that it’s easy to wonder how we can be of real help from so far away.

Praying remains a crucial part of our contribution, as survivors and relief workers on site deal with the realities of the loss and devastation around them.

Another way you can tangibly be involved right now is by giving. The Campus Ministry Haiti Relief Fund will make it possible for students at Big Break to be part of preparing A Million Meals for A Million People. You can support these effort here.

When the time is right, we will be mobilizing teams of students, faculty members and volunteers to go to Haiti to help distribute meals, clear debris, and rebuild the nation of Haiti. These teams will bring eager hands, compassionate hearts and the gospel message that will transform lives.

Trusting God to bring healing to Haiti,

Mark Gauthier

US National Campus Director
